It’s time for our weekly winning low carb recipes roundup, a compilation of the week’s most popular recipes from the Low Carb Zen Facebook page. I choose the winning low carb recipes as those that got the most likes, shares, clicks, pins and comments throughout the week, the largest reach. So millions of low carbers worldwide “voted” by their actions. How cool is that?

Recipes listed in order of popularity.

This Week’s Winning Low Carb Recipes!

Winning Low Carb Recipes: Pumpkin Cake It is that time of year when we’re thinking everything “Pumpkin” in the US at least, so little wonder this delicious-looking Low Carb Pumpkin Cake was such a hit. If you have “gastrointestinal issues” with Xylitol or you have pets (for whom Xylitol is highly toxic), you may choose to substitute something like Swerve. Best Low Carb Recipes
Winning Low Carb Recipes: Chicken with Cheese This Monteray Chicken dish is one of those super-simple ideas that makes for a quick, easy dinner that you don’t feel guilty about. Don’t forget to use a sugar free bbq sauce. I’ve heard great reports about Guy’s Sugar Free BBQ Sauce from our members, but haven’t tried it myself yet. Best Low Carb Recipes
Keto Beef Broccoli Pie A Keto-friendly Broccoli ‪Cheese‬ Pie is another “everyday dinner” type recipe, ready to go when you need it. The flax meal adds fiber, and can be purchased online if you don’t have it locally. I prefer Golden Flax Meal because I think it has a nicer flavor. Best Low Carb Recipes
Lime Cheesecake Shooters No Bake Lime Cheesecake Shooters are so cute! I realize lots of people don’t do Splenda anymore. But you can substitute something like Swerve or Truvia easily enough. And I think these would be especially adorable in little Mason Jars. Best Low Carb Recipes
Chicken Avocado Salad Grilled Chicken, Bacon and Avocado Salad – the name is enough to win me over! Nobody will be thinking “diet food” when you serve this up. She suggests using Homemade or organic mayo. I haven’t tried making my own yet–I hear it’s not so hard, though. Best Low Carb Recipes
Cheesecake Cinnamon Squares  I love both cinnamon and cream cheese. So what’s not to love about Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares?! I still can’t believe I haven’t tried this one yet. If you’re new to low carb baking, the Xantham Gum helps bind the finished product together. Best Low Carb Recipes
Bulletproof Coffee Knockoff  I was fascinated by the “Bulletproof coffee” concepts, but not the price of all the fancy ingredients. So the Bulletproof Coffee Knockoff was born! Of all the fancy recommendations, Kerrygold Butter, or at least Grassfed Ghee or something of it’s ilk, proved to be the most important. There really was a big difference in the taste of grass-fed butter. Best Low Carb Recipes
Spinach Parmesan Meatballs These low carb Spinach Parmesan Baked Meatballs strike me as a little slice of heaven…a very easy, very yummy slice! Baking them on a Silicone Baking Mat will make for less mess; I have been shocked at how often I use mine. Best Low Carb Recipes
Green and White Lasagna  A lovely addition for our Primal and Vegetarian friends, this Green and White Lasagna is a dish they will undoubtedly have to share with the rest of us! This recipe uses the author’s “Everything Batter” for the “noodle” part, which calls for protein powder. If you don’t know which brand of Protein Powder to get, I’m a fan of Jay Robb’s. Best Low Carb Recipes
Strawberry Pretzel Salad This Strawberry Pretzel Salad is not for everybody, You can easily substitute something like Swerve for theSplenda, but some avoid the artificial sweeteners in Sugar-Free Jello. But if you do occasionally indulge in foods containing artificial sweeteners, however, then here is a remake of an old favorite for you. The author suggests 4 oz. Mason jars–cute!–or 7 oz. Ramekins for these. (Secret tip: No pretzels were harmed in the making of this “salad.”) Best Low Carb Recipes

  • I can’t access the recipe for bulletproof coffee knockoff recipe. There’s no scroll bar on the right side of the screen. Does it work for you?

  • The recipe Cinnamon Cream Cheese Squares gives me a warning that it is NOT a private connection and dangerous!
